A Rich, Colorful History Of Common Carrier Trucking, Hauling & Material Delivery Since 1945

For Three Generations, The Capparelle Family Has Been Moving Things From Here To There.

When Thomas and Toby Capparelle were young boys, they played with trucks. The difference? Theirs were always life-sized — to Tom and Toby, being in and around trucks as boys was as natural as playing baseball or climbing trees.

That's because the Capparelle family had been in trucking, hauling and material delivery since the 1940's – Grandfather Ralph and then father Carl established and maintained a thriving common carrier trucking business hauling stone and coal for local lime plants across Central Pennsylvania.

Capparelle Trucking was a local mainstay— as hardworking and reliable as the facilities they served, and as colorfully friendly and service minded as you might expect; they knew their customers personally, shook hands on the deals they made, and always went the extra mile for their customers.

1985: The Company Name Changed. But Their Principals (and Principles) Did Not.

When the time came for Tom and Toby Capparelle to map out an expansion plan for the company's Central Pennsylvania service line, they decided to keep things simple. TC Transport was incorporated in 1985, after adding a critical landscaping mulch service line to the family business in the early 1980's.

Who We Were, Is Who We Are.

TC Transport, like Capparelle Trucking before it, is a common carrier for hire for all sorts of materials. We still believe personal service is an essential job function, with on-time delivery being an utmost priority. So while TC Transport may have expanded to new materials and wider markets—we have never changed the principles on which the company was founded:

Be safe. Arrive on time. Stay friendly. Offer real value. And whenever necessary, go the extra mile. Contact us today and see for yourself.
